[Donkey Kong Country 1½]

ups and downs

Well you just got a terrible mix of good and bad in just about everything. Some voices were good: the girls, funky, King K. Rool and others were just horrible. Some fo the jokes were good...but without the Bill gates jokes it would've been nothing. The drawing were decent but you overly abused tweening. You can't tween everything, it looked really bad during the DDR sequence. You have some good theories, just make sure you're keeping a standard throught out the video, because this just jumped from bad to good and back again on too many occasions.

Some good some bad

Most of them weren't that funny but some were absolutely great. My favorite was the floating peach skit with mario. But most of them were simply gags like falling ot running into something...not much humor or effort there. I think you need to remake this and be more selective about what gets in. Also out of preference yo ushould add in sprits from the game BattleToads and Double Dragon. One of my favorites on the SNES. Thought it should be on there since Battle Toads were almost as popular as Double Dragon was and they appeared in a game that included both.

I just don't get it...

Your animation was decent. The graphics were OK but everything was just a mild motion tween. Next the voices were a bit annoying...then again I guess that's a bit appropriate...but still.

More than anything its the movie you chose to do the parody on. I just don't get the humor. I watched that movie for free and half way through it I thought someone owed me the theatre expense just for having to endure that much of it. The film may be quarky but there's no intelligent or slapstick humor to it. I dont get where the humor is coming from. So I'm sry to say since you followed the same road you also arrive at the same level of humor which in my opinion was a 2. I only give a 2 since your not actually the moron who shat the film out.

I loved the parody of the ever dodgy man turned turned drunk and mad.
The last review though made me quite sad.
A wee bit immature
but well intened I'm sure
I'm an understanding adult
If your too young then that's your fault
Thanks for humor and wit
Ignore the negative review, he's just a twit
A series would be nice
If not then this short will suffice

Good n Bad

I liked some and others I didn't. Some of the music quality was kinda low. The ones I did like, however, seemed a bit too repetetive in what they did. Make transitioning between the music too. It's a little weird to just explode into the next song.

Not as bad as most reviewers say

I kinda thought it was cool in it's own demented way. While it showcases a limited audience i feel that these people handing out low scores aren't being fair. Your animation, even though it really had no animating, had good graphics, the sound was done well and the voice was quite appropriate. There was no punchline or such that would stir the average audience (mind you the average person is classified as a complete dumbass) but I respect this twisted story far more than a Firth cartoon. Props for the unique idea you elaborated on, but you may need to mainstream a little to woo the crowd. You did good work, its just you're not appealling to enough people thats all.
