A good concept of using logic to cause a series of chain reactions...though until you see them in action they don't make a lot of sense. Include more rational clues as trail and error became far more efficient solution...which it shouldn't be.
Also...maybe animate a little more in depth...
good music :/
Hated it but...
Always constructive criticism from me.
Graphix: characters were all right but the land scapes and floating arm were pretty bad. Also the random jpeg images were bad taste too.
Gameplay: Point and click has always been terribly drab unless there's a real twist. That rule is no different here. Simply clicking a random object in an image without any complexity besides a bad memory game is not fun.
Sound: Horrendously annoying loop. Change it NOW!
Mediocrity at it's Best
Ok I'm gonna repeat some of the criticism but also add a constructive touch with it, because I feel you had something.
Obviously the sound was below par but it may be all you had to work with. Also the voices were done poorly. In order to fix this stand a little bit back from the mic and for the voices OVER do them so you can get a real character out of it, whether or not its accurate.
As for the graphics, they were decent. They were basically recognizeable so that's a good start. Add contrast to help, they felt a little flat. If you really want to make it nice add highlights too, but those are a bit tricky.
Now I liked your scenario set up but I felt a little short ended. Make it either longer or have more of a story to it. Focus more on the humor because whether or not you get the length or satisfaying story down, you need to have some punchlines in there so we can remember this thing ever existed in the next hour.
Also the topic is a bit hard to be accepted. Generally when fake wrestling and humor are combined its usually only accpetable in the form of an attackagainst wrestling. Maybe alter your course or find some relation that will have a better connection with the audience.
Good try though, but more effort is needed.
If it wasn't for illwillpress this would be the most successful example of 'mediocrity' on the site.
Reminds me of Jurassic Park on SNES
The game play and even the music reminded me a lot of that game (apparantly I'm the only one who loves it though). However things need to be improved:
- quicker reload
- new weapons
- more angles (kinda hard to hit stuff at a distance, couldnt get the aimer on them)
- a suprise factor to the enemies would be nice (have them jump out or something)
- have ways to prevent just running through the level (perhaps make it so all enemies must die or varry it and make some rooms require a switch to be activated)
- remove the "busy-er" line...it's not working...
Random theme made it enjoyable and humorous but also has some good game play that later on gets a bit difficult.
Loved the game. Finally I can play this versus losing all my money to Raiden 2 (one of my favorite arcade games that no one understands me for). My only suggestion is to make a 2 player with the combo moves included. Otherwise baddass game!
Good concept but too limited
I liked the idea, but it was far too limited. Only being able to jump was kinda depressing. Maybe you should've incorporated marios power ups, like the racoon suit or fire flower. The game was good but just not a whole lot to do.
